#ICYMI: Italian activists recently turned in about 630,000 signatures for a referendum to legalize the personal cultivation of marijuana and other psychoactive plants and fungi like psilocybin mushrooms. Unlike many of the US ballot initiatives, if this referendum moves forward, it would fully end the criminalization of growing of these substances, but it would maintain a current decriminalized fine on possession and use.
